Check Write Settings
This is the Adilas.biz check write custom settings page. Here you may print as often as needed to get the alignment and positioning exactly correct for your corporation and your check stock. The main application is a Canvas module that controls printing and custom settings.
To move an actual check field, click on the grey boxes in the check layout area. Simply drag and drop the fields to where you would like them to go. A selected element will have a light blue border box. You may also use your arrow keys to move the field to the desired position. Print as often as you like and at any time. At any time, you may click on the "Save" button. This is required if you want your changes to be saved. If you don't click the save button, any changes you made will not be saved. As a note, the save button will turn green and say "Saved" once successful. It will turn red and will say "Error" if unsuccessful. To "Hide/Show" any elements, use the checkboxes on the side to control each element. If a new one is turned on, the new field will show up in the top left corner. Drag and drop from there. Only items with a valid checkmark will be used and shown on the printed checks. There are also some placeholder values (light blue elements) that may be moved around to help with check alignment. These are things like bank info, corporation info, logo, and check number fields. They do not print. Only the grey boxes will have printable values when it is time to actually print a check. Tip: To save on actual check stock printing (for testing), print the test pages on blank paper and then hold the printed values over the actual check stock to compare spacing and alignment. Sometimes if you use a window or light source behind the blank paper and the actual check stock, both values (newly printed data and check stock) can be seen at the same time. |
